Wedding Photography

What you need to know

A wedding photographer is an important part of your day. Their job is to capture your story and create photographic memories you can look back on for a lifetime.

What you get

My packages include all your photographs, all individually edited, full-size and watermark free, so you can print or share them as you wish.

I’m a photographer, not a salesman, so I want you to have all your photos.  I have no interest in trying to sell you a canvas or a ridiculously expensive print.

While I don't guarantee a certain number of photos, as each wedding is unique, I can say that on average clients typically receive around 400 photos from their wedding (I don't put a cap on the number though!). I provide a colour and a black and white version of each photo, all on an online gallery where they can be viewed, shared and downloaded at your convenience. I can also provide the photos memory stick if preferred.

When you get them

I work to get your images to you in a week or two after “I do”. I know you will be keen to see your photos and so within the first couple of days I will fully edit a batch of 20 photos and message/email these to you. I am very happy for you to share these and my other photos on Facebook and social media.

My style

I have a reportage style to my photography and believe that the best photos are those that are natural and un-posed. It is certainly these that make it to large print, being displayed around homes of the happy couples.

However, most couples (or at least their parents) will want to have some group shots taken. Even the most hands-off photographer is going to have to intervene for those.

Where there are posed shots I try to make them look as natural as possible.

Working around your day

I offer half day packages to cover the all the essential moments of the day (Bride getting ready, Groom arriving, Bride arriving, ceremony and reception) without the need to hire a photographer for a full day (although I am available for the full day if required).

FAQ

Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of a malfunction?

Yes!! I will have a backup. Back up camera, lenses and batteries. Most Importantly two memory cards in each camera so your photos are backed up straight away!

When will we get our photos?

You will get to see your first highlight gallery (20+ photos) within the first two days. Meaning you can share them with friends and family straight away.
I then work to get your remaining images to you in a week or two after “I do”.

How many pictures will we receive?

While I don't guarantee a certain number of photos, as each wedding is unique, I can say that on average clients typically receive around 400 photos from their wedding (I don't put a cap on the number though!). I provide a colour and a black and white version of each photo, all on an online gallery where they can be viewed, shared and downloaded at your convenience.

Can we post our pictures on social media?

Absolutely, please do!! Once I send you the images, you can use them however you choose. I'm also really grateful if you give me photo credit when sharing them, it makes such a difference to my business.

How Do I Book You?

Booking starts with filling out the contact form and letting me the details. I'll reply to your email asap to let you know if I am available for your date and to answer all your questions.
Once we are both happy I will send you a booking form and request a small booking fee.
And that's it, you're booked!
